You guys wouldn't believe how much better Metallica's Enter Sandman is when you speed it up by about 10% (they typically do that when performing it live, I've found).

I totally don't find that song irritating anymore. Huh.

Oh man, it's been ages since I've listened to Metallica. Went to see a concert with them back in...2003? They stuck to the older songs, fortunately for me. Made my Japanese students at the time damn jealous.

I think I might be the biggest Metallica fanboy ever. It's sad.

I sing along to Meatloaf. I wouldn't sweat it too much.(That, and well, Metallica more or less defined my angry music for several years).

Toss an MP3 up, demonstrate!

Wouldn't I get in trouble for that?

Oh yeah, cause nobody ever put Metallica on the intertron without permission. Besides, as long as you gain no profit from it or claim original credit, it probably goes under some kind of fair use thing. (i think)

#1: Most likely, nobody would notice.
#2: As long as you're throwing up a short sample of the song sufficient to demonstrate your change and not the whole song, anyone who notices may or may not be legally allowed to care.

Here you go!

It's actually sped up by about 8%, without changing the pitch at all. Any faster and it starts to sound ridiculous.

Okay, that's pretty neat. I *like* the slow, rhythmic pounding of the original, but the faster version sounds very cool as well.

Oddly -- do not attempt to slow down OR speed up Fuel. It will end badly.
